THE ROLE
The Seamless Pattern Maker is responsible for reviewing technical packs and developing accurate initial garment patterns for seamless products. This role involves creating computerized patterns, engineering seamless garment structures, preparing production documentation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure garments meet fit, quality, functionality, and cost requirements from development through bulk production.
IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL HAVE:
Main Goals
- Create initial garment patterns based on technical packs using pattern-making software.
- Engineer seamless garment structures and body mapping using Graph6 and Proton software.
- Prepare tube measurement sheets and bulk production documentation, including "How to Measure" guides.
- Collaborate closely with machine programmers and technicians to optimize knitting programs and seamless garment construction.
- Support trials of new yarns, machine gauges, and knitting techniques to improve product performance.
- Evaluate and approve garment fit, balance, and comfort through virtual and physical fitting sessions.
- Support bulk production by resolving fit and construction issues.
- Ensure seamless products meet quality, performance, durability, and cost targets while maintaining design intent.

- Strong knowledge of garment fit, grading, and seamless garment construction.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with development, programming, and production teams.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to resolve technical fit and construction challenges.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet development timelines.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven experience in seamless pattern making or technical garment development.
- Experience creating garment patterns using computerized pattern-making software.
- Strong expertise in garment fit, grading, and seamless product construction.
- Technical understanding of knitting structures and Santoni machine capabilities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred:
- Experience with Proton, or similar seamless pattern engineering software.
- Experience working within apparel manufacturing or the textile industry.
